Technically not a blank post

I’m too ashamed to make a completely blank post. I went to a dance show today and it was pretty much fine? I’m glad I went. But also it didn’t really change me in noticeable way. There were some really great bits, especially early on, and the technical work and stamina of the dancers was impressive.

The piece began in a discordant swarm of sound and bodies and built up this wonderful sense of tension and surveillance and pained differentiation and non-consensual reintegration into the mass.

But then they wasted the tension.

so that was disappointing.
